World Central Kitchen Donation

 

American Fashion Network (AFN), and Simply Threads, responded to the urgent need for community assistance through a donation to the World Central Kitchen. World Central Kitchen, founded by celebrity chef Jose Andres, responds rapidly to crisis situations in the United States, and all over the world, providing food assistance, and promoting recovery and food resilience through worker training and support initiatives.

In addition to responding in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, and the earthquake in Haiti, World Central Kitchen has recently provided assistance to Afghan refugees, provided food aid during India's Covid crisis, after western Germany's flooding crisis, and following the condominium collapse in Florida, among many other examples.
